Football Recap: Scott City Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scott City walked away with it. They slipped by the Kennett Indians 35-34 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their three-point performance the contest before.

Scott City's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Kennett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Scott City will challenge Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. Kennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
