Softball Recap: Palmer Ridge Falls Short Against Ranked Pueblo Central

Palmer Ridge faced Pueblo Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bears have suffered since October 18, 2024.

Palmer Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Pueblo Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1.

Coincidentally, Palmer Ridge and Pueblo Central will both be playing Lamar the next time they take the field. The Bears will head out to face the Thunder at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
