Soccer Game Preview: Costa Mesa vs. Sage Hill

The Costa Mesa Mustangs will take on the Sage Hill Lightning at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Costa Mesa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They skirted past Don Lugo 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Sage Hill won against Linfield Christian on Wednesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Sage Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over San Marcos.

Cambria Thomas was the driving force of Sage Hill's attack as she scored both of Sage Hill's goals, bringing her season total up to seven goals.

Costa Mesa's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Sage Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
