Soccer Recap: Iowa City West Takes a Loss

Iowa City West lost against Woodward-Granger back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans came up short against the Hawks, falling 5-1.

Iowa City West's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Woodward-Granger, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record this season.

Iowa City West wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Johnston on the 26th. As for Woodward-Granger, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Urbandale on the 29th.
