Williams Posts Huge Game in 70-29 Win

Starting off the list is Anna's Ziondre Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Williams threw for 287 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards.

On the season, Williams has thrown 17 touchdowns while averaging 259.2 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had 11 passing touchdowns.

Cameron Newton Delivers Best Performance of Season

Walnut Grove was led to victory by Cameron Newton, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. The match was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.

Independence's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. Murindagomo and Independence will be playing at home against Lovejoy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Jacob Janecek of Lovejoy. Janecek threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

The victory was the third in a row for Lovejoy, bringing their record for this year to 3-2. Janecek and Lovejoy will venture away from home to face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
