Basketball Recap: Desert Hot Springs Skates Past Excelsior Charter with Ease

It's playoff time, and Desert Hot Springs had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Excelsior Charter Eagles to the tune of 64-26 on Thursday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-14.

Desert Hot Springs pushed their record up to 9-13 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Excelsior Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
