Softball Recap: Spalding Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Spalding lost against Mary Persons back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jaguars came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-2. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abigail Smith made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run.

Spalding's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Mary Persons, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Spalding will square off against Crawford County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mary Persons, they will take on Veterans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Warhawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
