Softball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce lost against White County back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 18-3 to the Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Commerce saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruby Garcia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI. Lily Sears also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for White County, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Coming up, Commerce will be playing at home against East Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. White County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
