Soccer Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs. While losing is never fun, Atlantic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Denison-Schleswig are ranked 34th).

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Denison-Schleswig, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.

As of now, neither Atlantic nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
