Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Temple Academy

Temple Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks with points to spare, taking the game 59-43. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Sharks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Harris, who posted 13 points. Lamar Chambers was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Temple Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Shining Light Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Temple Academy has already played their next game, a 49-38 loss against Faith Christian on the 14th. As for Shining Light Baptist Academy, they will challenge Rockwell Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
