Recap: Burbank Titans vs. Grant Pacers
The Burbank Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Grant, falling 67-3. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Burbank has scored all season.
Kelsey Alba was Burbank's leading scorer, having posted three points.
It was another big night for Samaya Dillard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds for Grant. Another player making a difference was Nerissa Hamilton, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Burbank has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Grant, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.
Burbank will be playing in front of their home fans against River City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Burbank in California (River City is ranked 492nd, while Burbank is ranked 1103rd). As for Grant, they will head out on the road to square off against Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
