Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southland Academy). They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Raiders needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Southland Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Southland Academy will host Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Grace Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
