Football Recap: Denver South Takes a Loss

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Denver South was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 10-3 to the Northfield Nighthawks. The Ravens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nighthawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Denver South now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Denver South will square off against Arvada West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ravens will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Northfield, they will challenge Thomas Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Nighthawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
