Softball Recap: Mead Comes Up Short

Mead managed to slip by Rocky Mountain the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mavericks came up short against the Lobos on Saturday, falling 14-7. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mead's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rocky Mountain, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Mead didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-2 defeat against Fort Collins on the 23rd. As for Rocky Mountain, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Riverdale Ridge on the 23rd.
