Soccer Game Preview: Kerman vs. Central Valley Christian

The Kerman Lions will square off against the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kerman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Kerman is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Kingsburg just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Vikings could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Lions happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 7th.

Their goal came courtesy of Audrey Garcia, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian's game on Wednesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand Washington Union a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Central Valley Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-4-6. With that draw, Kerman's record moves to 10-2-5.
