Basketball Recap: Penn Cambria Finds Playoff Glory Versus Tyrone

It's playoff time, and Penn Cambria had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Tyrone Golden Eagles 67-52 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 56-50 defeat.

Leading Penn Cambria to victory were Rachel Fisher and Avayah Lemaster. Fisher posted 20 points in addition to seven boards and six assists, while Lemaster earned 15 points. Those 20 points gave Fisher a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avery LeMaster, who scored nine points.

Penn Cambria now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Tyrone, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

Looking ahead, Penn Cambria will face off against Westmont Hilltop at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tyrone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
