Football Recap: Hamburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hamburg had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it five. They took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pequea Valley Braves. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Braves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Hamburg saw an underclassman step up: freshman Issac McFadden rushed for 95 yards and three scores.

As for Pequea Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lebran Woods went supernova, rushing for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another back making a difference was Jose Santiago, who rushed for 93 yards and one TD.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hamburg will face off against rival Schuylkill Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pequea Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Annville-Cleona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
