Valley Center Gets a Boost from Stehly in  22-19  Victory
 Starting off the list is Valley Center's  Daniel Stehly, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stehly picked up  four  sacks and made 16 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
 Valley Center has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. Stehly and Valley Center will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westview at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

Gonzales Made His Presence Known in Escondido's  22-19 Defeat
 Escondido had to settle for second  on Friday, but  Josh Gonzales sure wasn't going down easily. Gonzales was unstoppable, picking up 173 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Escondido is 3-1 when  Gonzales posts 100 or  more  receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Escondido's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 4-3. Gonzales and Escondido will face off against Westview at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Joseph Vinup Goes Supernova in Oceanside Win
 Oceanside found a leader in  Joseph Vinup as the  squad took down Rancho Buena Vista on Friday. Vinup was unstoppable, throwing for 141 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 passes.
 For the year,  Vinup  has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 117.6 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 16.88  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 43.13  rushing yards.

 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Friday  Landen Lockwood stepped things up a notch to give San Pasqual the 'W'. Nobody could stop  Lockwood as he made 18 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes.
 On the season,  Lockwood  has averaged 12.4 total tackles per game.

Robert Renteria Makes It Two for San Pasqual
 Another San Pasqual player making an appearance on this list is  Robert Renteria. He threw for 217 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.
