Basketball Recap: Tara Terrones' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lompoc over Paso Robles

Lompoc was the 48-36 winner over Paso Robles when they last played one another on January 10th, but their luck changed this time around. The Lompoc Braves fell 42-31 to the Paso Robles Bearcats on Tuesday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tara Terrones, who posted seven points along with six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Morales, who put up six points and seven rebounds.

Lompoc's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Paso Robles, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-12.

Lompoc will be playing at home against Cabrillo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paso Robles, they are taking a road trip to challenge Templeton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Paso Robles is facing Templeton at the right time seeing as Templeton is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
