Football Recap: St. Pius X's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

St. Pius X fell victim to Moriarty and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 14-0 bruising from the Pintos. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Sartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Pius X fell to 2-1. As for Moriarty, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will challenge Organ Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moriarty, they will square off against Bernalillo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Pintos their first taste of in-conference action this season.
