Pittsburg won the last time they faced Topeka and Malcolm Riley did his part to make sure it happened again. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 34-12 margin over the Trojans on Friday with plenty of help from Riley, who rushed for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Pittsburg's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

The win got Pittsburg back to even at 4-4. As for Topeka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Pittsburg will face off against Leavenworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The PIONEERS will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. Topeka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
