Sinton had won five straight games and Mykha Green did his part to make it six on Friday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Calallen Wildcats with a sharp 32-10 victory thanks in part to Green, who rushed for 219 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. Green is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 215 every time he's taken the field this season.

Sinton's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Calallen, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Sinton and Calallen will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Pirates are set to face off against their familiar foe Cuero at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Calallen will square off against rival Valley View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
