Baseball Recap: Mascoma Comes Up Short

Mascoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to the Fall Mountain Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on May 7th.

Mascoma's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Fall Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Mascoma will take on Hillsboro-Deering at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fall Mountain, they will host Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
