Soccer Recap: Laguna Beach Takes a Loss

After flying high against University last Friday, Laguna Beach came back down to earth. The Laguna Beach Breakers came up short against the Rosary Academy Royals on Monday, falling 4-0. The Breakers haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Laguna Beach's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Rosary Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4-3 record this season.

Laguna Beach and Rosary Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Laguna Beach will take on Northwood at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 471 places (221 vs. 692). Similarly, Rosary Academy (ranked 115th) will meet Woodbridge (ranked 295th) at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
