Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union Grove). They blew past the McDonough Warhawks 27-2 on Monday. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Union Grove has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for McDonough, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Union Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warhawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
