Baseball Recap: Garrett Comes Up Short

The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Adrian Porter was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April.

Garrett's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

The Railroaders will challenge Prairie Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (155 vs. 347). Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (ranked 147th) will meet Southern Wells (ranked 319th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
