Softball Recap: Oglethorpe County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oglethorpe County can now relate to. They came up short against the Toombs County Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Oglethorpe County has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Toombs County, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

As of now, neither Oglethorpe County nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
