St. Joseph waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the Aquinas Academy Crusaders with a 60-54 win. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Crusaders back in January, they had to take a 50-31 defeat.

Despite the loss, Aquinas Academy still got an impressive performance from Elliot Keverline, who posted 21 points and seven boards. Those 21 points gave Keverline a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rebecca Guillen, who had 13 points.

St. Joseph's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Aquinas Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.
