Whitewater barely beat Troup County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Tigers on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Whitewater's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Troup County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-9.

Coming up, Whitewater will head out on the road to square off against Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Troup County, they will challenge Villa Rica at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
