Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Woodland Christian walked away with it. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 69-23 victory over the Destiny Christian Academy Lions. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matches by 25 points or more this season.

Woodland Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keziah Maldonado-Lemus, who almost dropped a triple-double with 13 points, nine assists, and nine steals. Maldonado-Lemus is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in each of the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Hayes, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Maldonado-Lemus wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Woodland Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in four consecutive contests.

Woodland Christian's win bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Looking ahead, Woodland Christian will face off against Argonaut at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodland Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Argonaut likes a good challenge. Destiny Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
