Soccer Game Preview: Hillsdale vs. Sequoia

The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS will challenge the Sequoia Ravens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsdale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hillsdale is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Woodside on Tuesday. Hillsdale fell just short of Woodside by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Wildcats are ranked 166th).

Meanwhile, Sequoia came up short against Burlingame on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Sequoia, they dropped their record down to 5-9-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
