Volleyball Recap: Valley Center Comes Up Short

Valley Center's tournament run continued when they took on Calvary Chapel on Saturday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addyson Martin paced Valley Center's offense, picking up ten kills. Martin got some help from Kira Le and her 20 assists. Finally, $U'La Devers kept Valley Center's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Valley Center's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Calvary Chapel, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Valley Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against California School for the Deaf-Riverside on the 30th. As for Calvary Chapel, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 30th.
