Basketball Recap: Girard Academic Music Program Comes Up Short

Girard Academic Music Program was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 47-27 to String Theory. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as String Theory apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Girard Academic Music Program's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for String Theory, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Girard Academic Music Program wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-22 defeat against KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy on the 18th. As for String Theory, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against MAST Community Charter at 4:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025.
