It's playoff time, and St. Bernard had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 54-29 margin over the Fortuna Huskies on Friday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Laila Florvilus continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was her tenth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Boham, who posted six points and five boards.

St. Bernard's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

St. Bernard's is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-2 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Fortuna and nudges their season record down to 16-14.

St. Bernard's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-41 loss against Menlo School on the 4th. As for Fortuna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-38 defeat against Rio Linda on the 4th.
