Football Recap: Alief Hastings Bears vs. Bellaire Cardinals
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alief Hastings). They breezed past the Bellaire Cardinals to the tune of 47-14 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.
Among those leading the charge was Jarell Rayshun Lee, who threw for 222 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 62 yards on only eight carries. A healthy portion of Lee's aerial production (100 yards to be exact) went to Christian Jordan Collins.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Alief Hastings was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
