Malcolm is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Auburn: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Clippers blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 67-21 final score. Malcolm can attribute much of their success to Halle Dolliver, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 21 points along with seven steals and six rebounds, and Payton Dolliver, who shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Payton's big performance that evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Baylor Bratrsovsky was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Meanwhile, North Bend Central was able to grind out a solid win over Seward on Saturday, taking the game 64-56.

North Bend Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Malcolm, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
