Baseball Recap: North Laurel Victorious

North Laurel came out on top against Perry County Central on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Jaguars walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Commodores. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Commodores recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Eli Holt was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colton Stewart, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

North Laurel was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

North Laurel's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Perry County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 20-14.

As of now, neither North Laurel nor the Commodores have any future games scheduled.
