St. David has gone 7-2 against Desert Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tigers will challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. St. David will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Thursday, St. David got the win against Lourdes Catholic by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Desert Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Benson.

Desert Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Benson work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Desert Christian's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 16-6. As for St. David, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Everything went St. David's way against Desert Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as St. David made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
