Basketball Game Preview: Ramona Bulldogs vs. San Marcos Knights

Ramona hasn't had much luck against San Marcos recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ramona Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the San Marcos Knights at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ramona is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Friday. They were outmatched by Mt. Carmel and fell 71-8. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-3.

Meanwhile, San Marcos suffered their biggest loss since January 10th on Saturday. They came up short against Imperial, falling 48-28. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Tigers are ranked 130th).

San Marcos' defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.

Ramona took a serious blow against San Marcos in their previous matchup back in January, falling 85-6. Can Ramona avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
