Softball Recap: Central Gwinnett Comes Up Short

Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gainesville Red Elephants, falling 16-3. The Black Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Elephants from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Central Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gainesville, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Central Gwinnett and Gainesville will both be playing Cedar Shoals the next time they take the field. The Red Elephants will head out to face the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Black Knights will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
