Baseball Game Preview: Harris County Tigers vs. Starr's Mill Panthers

For the second straight game, Harris County will face off against Starr's Mill. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Harris County 3.4, Starr's Mill 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

It was a proper cat-fight when Harris County faced off against Starr's Mill on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 7-3 to the Panthers. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since on Tuesday.

Colt Angel and Daejeon Elder stepped up to the plate in a big way. Angel scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Elder scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win was the fifth in a row for Starr's Mill, bringing their record up to 19-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Harris County, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7.
