Recap: Galeton Tigers vs. Oswayo Valley Green Wave
This season hasn't been kind to the Galeton Tigers, who are still winless after their 13th match. They were beaten by Oswayo Valley 43-15 on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Galeton in their matchups with Oswayo Valley: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Galeton still got an impressive performance from Addison Reigle, who scored eight points. That was a full 53.3% of Galeton's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Galeton bumped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Oswayo Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galeton will challenge Cameron County at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oswayo Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Otto-Eldred at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
