Preview: Millville Quakers vs. Northumberland Christian Warriors        
        
		
            
 Millville is 1-8 against Northumberland Christian since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Millville Quakers' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Northumberland Christian Warriors at 7:30  p.m.  on January 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Saturday, Millville ended up a good deal behind Muncy and lost  43-29.
  Larissa Evans put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  rebounds. That was a full 62.1% of Millville's points, marking the 15th time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Abby Kakaley, who  scored five points along with five  rebounds and four  steals.
 Meanwhile, Northumberland Christian lost to Meadowbrook Christian on the road  by a decisive  39-24 margin last Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Northumberland Christian has scored all season.
 Millville now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Northumberland Christian, they have  been struggling recently, as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
 Millville didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against Northumberland Christian  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a  40-34 victory. Does  Millville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northumberland Christian turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
