Recap: Pflugerville Panthers vs. Pflugerville Connally Cougars
Even though The Pflugerville Connally Cougars scored an imposing 38 points on Friday, the Pflugerville Panthers still came out on top. Pflugerville snuck past Pflugerville Connally with a 44-38 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pflugerville.
Leading Pflugerville to victory were Cole Taylor and Rhyder Miller. Taylor rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, while Miller rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown. Another big playmaker for Pflugerville was Christian Baham, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Pflugerville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season. As for Pflugerville Connally, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Pflugerville will face off against LBJ Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LBJ Austin is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. Pflugerville Connally does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
