Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian School of Griffin Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian School of Griffin lost against Skipstone Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The LIONS lost 14-4 to the Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the LIONS have lost by exactly ten runs.

Cooper Bell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian School of Griffin and nudges their season record down to 1-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Skipstone Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Coming up, Trinity Christian School of Griffin will host Peoples Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Skipstone Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Scholars Guild Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
