Softball Recap: Lowndes Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lowndes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Lee County Trojans, falling 9-1. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly eight runs.

Lowndes' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lee County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

Looking ahead, Lowndes will head out on the road to challenge Thomas County Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lee County, they will take on Pace Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
