Basketball Recap: Upland Piles Up the Points Against Lucerne Valley

Upland meant business on Monday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Mustangs squad that has allowed just 27.81 points per contest. The Upland Highlanders/Scots blew past the Lucerne Valley Mustangs 64-25. The victory was some much needed relief for the Highlanders/Scots as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Upland's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13. As for Lucerne Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-8 record.

Upland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lucerne Valley, they will be playing at home against Academy of Careers & Exploration at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lucerne Valley is facing Academy of Careers & Exploration at the right time seeing as Academy of Careers & Exploration is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
