Baseball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Metter on Friday, Prince Avenue Christian came back down to earth. The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines fell 3-0 to the Savannah Christian Raiders on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Garrett Powell was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

Prince Avenue Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Savannah Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prince Avenue Christian will square off against Troup County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Savannah Christian, they will challenge Richmond Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
