Baseball Recap: Brooks County Comes Up Short

Brooks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Charlton County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss on Friday.

Brooks County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Charlton County, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Looking ahead, Brooks County will head out to face off against Echols County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooks County is facing Echols County at the right time seeing as Echols County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Charlton County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-6 victory against McIntosh County Academy on the 22nd.
