Softball Recap: Morris Takes a Loss

Morris was the 11-0 winner over Chouteau-Mazie when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Thursday.

Morris dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chouteau-Mazie, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Morris wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Okmulgee on the 14th. Hopefully Chouteau-Mazie paid attention to the Eagles' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
